I am delighted as the Commissioner General of the UK Commission for Consistent Learning in bringing forth the distinctive concept of Independent Assessing, Examining and Validation for Professional and Vocational educational qualifications. UK-CCL is committed in the enhancement of individuals in the recognition for their skills and experience and the validation of organisations which meet the quality standards of UK-CCL.

The significant question in any educator’s mind in this era is
“ Can the traditional education system cope with demands of the rapidly changing world?

UK-CCL unremittingly believes that “It Is Not the Path That Counts But The Knowledge That You Gain”. UK CCL has many Honorary Academic Advisers, Examiners, and Education Consultants who have come forward to support the initiative our vision internationally.

To implement Quality Professional Educational Standards globally,  UK-CCL has been selected by UK Professional Bodies, Employers, and Educational Institutions to be their Independent Assessors and Examiners. This enables UK CCL to make it possible to offer busy working professionals or any mature candidates who do not have any formal qualifications, the opportunity in obtaining a high-ranking Professional or Vocational Educational Qualification.

UK CCL is committed in working very closely with Employers, Business Organisations, and other Professional Educational Institutions worldwide in offering a new methodology of training, assessing, examining, and validating prior learning and experiences into recognisable qualifications. This is the way forward in the third millennium.

There is a growing demand rather than an option for Further Higher Educational and Professional Qualifications. In line with this demand UK-CCL has appointed  Regional Centres to assist and provide facilities for Workshops / Seminars for local candidates.  Enrolment is open throughout the year to suit all applicants.

The pundits of UK-CCL have observed that in the past half century education has been a static concept. Uk-CCL firmly believes that new ideas can change the world. This is particularly true as governments constantly contemplate and implement  major changes in education.

UK-CCL is dedicated to raising Professional & Vocational Educational Standards worldwide by providing a unique service as ASSESSORS-EXAMINERS-VALIDATORS. UK-CCL will monitor quality of standards for Continuous Learning by way of their Emissaries (CCLE) internationally.

The governors of UK-CCL have seen an increasing demand for quality private education and new learning methods. Educational and vocational establishments look for quality assessment and UK-CCL fills that gap. The UK-CCL Quality Seal is therefore an assurance to people, students, employers and educational establishments that our  service meets quality standards. The Quality Mark is in recognition of excellence and good practice achieved and maintained by individual institutions facilitating flexible education and training systems.

UK-CCL's aim is not only to enrich education but also to preserve quality delivery standards. As such, UK-CCL strives to adopt appropriate methods of learning to suit personal circumstances. While we pay homage to Darwin for his theory of evolution, equal tribute should be paid to the Founder,  Prof. Ralph J. Thomas for his visualisation of this vital theory which he has been developing since mid 1996. His visualisation has been able to grow to this level of achievement due to the coorporation of his tireless team,  Mr Reuben Chelliah, Mr. D.Narayanan, Mr. Ramalingam Surentheran, and Mr. Nagarajan Seenivasan for their innovative  thoughts.

UK-CCL  methods of assessment and validation in elevating Professional, Vocational Experiences and Skills Training to a recognised Professional Qualification will boost the morality of individuals and the productivity of employers internationally. This is in line with the most modern theory ' Education for Career Evolution' - a revolution far from the old oratory. The old school of thought paradoxically predicted gloom on new concepts like Education for Career Evolution'. The palpable truth is that, far from imminent doom, there is a bright future for Professional and Vocational Educationl.

As we walk through life we accumulate knowledge and experience. Everyday is a learning process. Today there are many people with a vast expanse of skills but sadly they are not given recognition due to the fact that they do not have the relevant paper qualification.

UK-CCL gives credence to such accumulated knowledge and seeks to give the necessary recognition.

Corroborative

No fresh graduate is ever equipped with the required skills for the job for which they may land unless they have some sort of experience. Small wonder that most employers place the requisite for `experience'. Yet they do give priority to graduates and give them better remuneration.

Thus is the vicious circle of Experience against Qualification. If you have the qualification, you may not have the experience. If you have the experience, you may not have the qualification.

To plug this hole, UK-CCL assists those with experience and with past learning to attain the required goal. There has to be corroboration between learning and experience. There cannot be learning without experience. In fact the modern trend is to include practical work experience in education.
